The IEEE International Conference on Sensing, Communication and Networking (IEEE SECON) was recently held in London, UK on 27 - 30 JUNE 2016./2016年6月27至30日，第十三届IEEE年度传感通信与网络会议在英国伦敦举办。

The 13th annual IEEE SECON conference will provide a unique forum to exchange innovative research ideas, recent results, and share experiences among researchers and practitioners in the field of sensing and communication in wireless networks. The focus of SECON is novel communication technologies and emerging applications and services. It involves mobile sensing and communication, cyber-physical systems, and ubiquitous and pervasive computing./此次会议交流了该领域的创新研究思路，为科学研究 者提供了一个独特的论坛平台。会上，来自世界各国的研究人员和从业人员将最近的研究结果通过展示，分享他们在传感及无线网络中的通信等领域的经验。本届大会讨论的重点是新兴通信技术和新兴应用服务， 这其中包括移动传感和通信，物理网络系统和无所不在的信息计算。

Each year in the IEEE SECON committee members submit nominations for best paper award recognizing outstanding performance in research. At this year’s IEEE SECON conference, the committee selected three researchers who are shining examples of research innovation.Our faculty teacher Dr. WU Di is one of the three award winners. His paper Enhancing Smartphone Indoor Localization via Opportunistic Sensing receives the 2016 IEEE SECON Best Paper Award./在此次IEEE SECON会议上，我院吴迪老师参与的论文《利用机会感知增强智能手机室内定位》(Enhancing Smartphone Indoor Localization via Opportunistic Sensing) 得到与会专家的高度评价，并一举摘得2016 IEEE SECON 会议最佳论文奖。
