The Computer Science and Electronic Engineering has been on the South Campus of HNU new CSEE building for only a few years, and not all taxi drivers are aware of who or where we are. We suggest therefore that you ask for "the Computer Science and Electronic Engineering building further down to the School of Business Administration off Lushan South Road".
We are also next to the School of Design.
You might find it useful to have a copy of the surrounding area of the HNU CSEE Building map with you for guidance.

On foot or by bicycle

The CSEE Building is 460m south of the Hunan University Dong-Fang-Hong Square, along Lu-Shan South Road, towards the HNU School of Design.

1 Go south on Lu-Shan South Road
2 Pass Fulinshe Teaching Building near College of Foreign Languages and International Studies

By Changsha subway
Changsha Subway Line 2 is around 14 miles (22km), stretching from Guangda Station in the east to the Wangchengpo Station in the west encompassing 19 stations. This line traverses the Xiangjiang River connecting two railway stations in the city and the West Bus Station as well as some local renowned attractions such as Mt. Yuelu. The fare is CNY5 for the whole single trip and the train’s frequency is around 8 to 10 minutes.
In the future, this line will interchange with six other lines.

Line 2 Timetable

Line 1: Navigation-Power Junction – Shangshuangtang (South – North) Wuyi Square transition. This Line is open for trail operation on March 21st, 2016 and will carry passengers by the end of June, 2016. “长沙地铁1号线工程从2010年12月26日开工建设，分别在2015年的10月11日、12月22日、12月30日实现“洞通”、“轨通”、“电通”， 并于2016年1月20日全线“车通”，3月21日试运行，并于6月23日-24日开启试乘。所有20个站点为：开福区政府、马厂、北辰三角洲、开福寺、 文昌阁、培元桥、五一广场（换乘2号线）、黄兴广场、南门口、侯家塘、南湖路、黄土岭、涂家冲、铁道学院、友谊路、省政府、桂花坪、大托、中信广场、尚双塘。”
Line 2 (phase 1): Guangda – Wangchengpo (East – West) This Line is in use now.
Full Length: about 14 miles (22.3 km)
The phase 1 of Line 2 was put into use in April, 2014 with 19 stations, which, from west to east, are Wangchengpo, Jinxing Road, Xihu Park, Yinwan Town (take a taxi or a local bus to Hunan University- CSEE), Juzizou, Xiangjiang Middle Road, Wuyi Square (city center), Furong Square, Yingbin Road, Yuanjialing, Railway Station, Jintai Square, Wanjiali Square, Renmin East Road, Changsha Avenue, Shawan Park, Duhua Road, South Railway Station (fast train station) and Guangda. The western extension, from Wangchengpo to Meixi Lake West, is scheduled to be about 12 miles (20 km) long. The first phase of the west section, measuring around 2.5 miles (4 km) long and with 4 stops, is open now.
Line 3: Pingtang – Zhanggongtang (Southwest – Northeast)
Line 4 (phase 1): Purui Avenue – Guihua Avenue (Northwest – Southeast) This Line is still under construction now.
Length: about 20.8 miles (33.5 km)
Construction period: the end of 2014 – 2019

Brief Intro: The largest and best-equipped airport in Hunan Province, Changsha Huanghua International Airport is also famous as one of the top 20 busiest air hubs in China. Currently, it has two terminal buildings, T1 and T2.

It covers an area of 213, 000 square meters (52.6 acres) in total, ranked fifth nationwide. Currently, the airport has a 3,200-meter-long (1.6 miles) runway and a taxi track of the equal length. It is also equipped with such communication navigation systems as ILS, VOR/DME, NDB and advanced ground security facilities, which enable it to handle Boeing 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 778, A300, A320, A330, A340, and MD82, and MD90, etc. It has over 110 scheduled flights to 81 cities domestic and international, such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Xian, Hangzhou, Sanya, Nanjing, Chongqing, Xiamen, Kunming, Hong Kong, Macau, Seoul, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur.

The 72-hour visa-free transit policy has been implemented at the airport since January 1st, 2016. Passengers from 51 countries or regions can enjoy this policy when transiting in the airport.
