钟雄虎,1982年生,博士,教授,博士生导师,湖南大学岳麓学者,入选湖南省“百人计划”,并获湖南省“湖湘高层次人才聚集工程”创新项目支持。本科与硕士毕业于西北工业大学,博士毕业于英国爱丁堡大学。在新加坡南洋理工大学从事研究工作多年,并于2013年和2014年分别应邀和英国Surrey大学和德国波恩大学展开项目合作研究,2017年-2018年间担任Xylem全球智慧水务集团数据科学家。

目前主要研究方向为声信号感知与识别、多模态信息融合、车联网高精度车辆定位、机器学习与大数据分析。主持国际国内重大研究项目多项,包括新加坡EDB的智慧水务项目、NXP-NTUintelligenttransportationtest-bed智能通行项目等。在IEEET-SP,T-ASLP,T-ITS,J-IoT上发表论文60余篇,获国际会议最佳论文奖2项。曾担任多个SCI期刊客座编辑,现任SCI期刊IETSignalProcessing期刊副编辑。
